Why Cleaning your gutter regularly is crucial
A clogged gutter seems harmless, but it can have serious consequences. Leaves, twigs, moss, and sand accumulate and block the water drainage. The result?
- Water damage: Rainwater overflows and can hit the facade or under the roof tiles. This leads to damp walls, mold, and even wood rot in the roof structure.
- Clogged drains: The vertical drain pipes also become clogged, meaning the water has nowhere to go.
- Extra weight: A water-saturated, clogged gutter becomes heavy, which can weaken the attachment over time.
- Nuisance in the garden: The excess water ends up on your patio or against the foundation of your house.
By having your gutters cleaned regularly, you protect the lifespan of your home and prevent unnecessary repair costs.
Our professional approach: this is how we thoroughly clean your gutters
We don't believe in half measures. That's why we take a structured approach. We clean your gutters in a set of steps:
1. Inspection and preparation
First, we assess the situation: how high is the gutter, what type of gutter is it, and how severe is the contamination? This allows us to determine the safest and most efficient approach.
2. Manual cleaning and vacuuming
We remove all leaves, branches, mud, and other debris by hand or with specialized tools. For stubborn, deeper contamination, we use a powerful vacuum to completely empty the gutter.
3. Test and flush the drain
After removing the dirt, we test whether the water can flow freely again. We flush the drainpipe with water to ensure that section is clear as well.
4. Final inspection and advice
We'll check the entire gutter for leaks, cracks, or loose fasteners. Finally, we're happy to advise you on how to keep your gutters clean for longer, for example, with gutter guards.

It's possible, but be careful. Working at height is risky. You also often lack the special tools to thoroughly clean the gutter and drain.

Yes, it's standard. Flushing the drain is part of our service. This prevents the dirt from simply moving.
Can I combine this with installing gutter grilles?
Absolutely! In fact, it's an excellent combination. After cleaning, we can immediately clean the gutter grilles (such as the AP23 of AP77) places. This keeps the dirt outside and you'll have to clean less often.
