Beginning remove moss
A smooth and efficient roof treatment starts with Dakshampoo® Quick Cleaner. Mixed with water, it forms a powerful cleaning spray that removes dirt and grime from roof tiles without scrubbing. It even works without rinsing, but if moss starts to form, we recommend spraying the roof tiles with a pressure washer after the application period.

Is high pressure cleaning always harmful?

Pressure washers have been around for over a century. Nilfisk has been producing them since the 80s, Kärcher since 1950, and DiBO since 1978. That's over 150 years of combined experience in high-pressure technology. With these machines proven over so many years, you can be confident they're safe for your roof – provided you use the right technology.
🎯 This is what we learned in 12 years (and now for free)
● Before 1988: Ceramic/fired roof tiles from before 1988 are often porous. First, inspect for water damage.
● Pressure is not the enemy: Roof tiles can't be destroyed by a 130-bar water jet. What is harmful? Letting moss and algae grow.
● High pressure only? Without pretreatment with Dakshampoo®, it barely cleans. Too much pressure damages the surface without cleaning it completely.
● Combination wins: Water + chemicals = deeper cleaning with less water power. Separately, they work less effectively.
● Coating requires pressure: Without high pressure and Dakshampoo®, coating or impregnation is not possible. Foaming or spraying alone is insufficient.
● Foaming is endless: Foaming or spraying alone never cleanses down to the capillaries. Repetition is (literally) endless.
● High pressure downplayed? By people inexperienced or afraid of heights. Deep cleaning is more intensive, difficult, and safe.

This multifunctional moss scraper can be safely applied to all roof tiles. Thanks to the nylon brush that you can cut to size, you create a perfectly fitting moss scraper for your roof tiles. With the sturdy nylon brushes, you remove even the most stubborn moss from your roof tiles. Yet, they are gentle on delicate ceramics. Cut the brushes to size so that they precisely follow the contours of the roof tiles. This moss scraper fits on any telescopic lance, optionally with a universal adapter in between. The kit includes a German internal thread and a brush that allows you to remove stubborn moss. Our professionals clear roofs of moss in this way from a ladder, scaffolding, or even from the ground.
