Why impregnate your roof?
Impregnating roof tiles extends the lifespan of your roof by protecting it in various ways:
- Protection of the top layer: Our impregnation agent protects the roof tiles against damage caused by weather influences and acids from bird droppings.
- Resistance to moss and algae: Our formula actively prevents the growth of moss and algae.
- UV resistant: The UV radiation from sunlight can tan our skin, but it also bleaches roof tiles. Roof shampoo® Impregnating agent makes the pans UV-resistant, which means the colours stay beautiful for longer.
- Water repellent en moisture regulating: The impregnating agent ensures that water has no chance to penetrate, while moisture can escape from the inside.
Solvent or water based impregnating agent
The impregnating agent of Dakshampoo® is available in different variants, namely solvent-based (liquid), solvent-based (cream) and water-based (liquid).

A high-quality water-based impregnating agent based on modified polysiloxanes (a type of silicone) with colour-enhancing components. Perfect for those who want an extra lively appearance of roof tiles.
Wetlook Shiner
A 1-component, solvent-free coating for protecting and renewing (natural) stone surfaces. Ideal for both porous and non-porous surfaces such as plastic, paint, glass, metal, concrete, stone and leather.
Roof treatments with impregnation or coating
Impregnating roof tiles is one of the ways to finish a roof treatment. Another way is, for example, coating the roof tiles with a color coating. We have 4 roof treatments developed for you, including the high-quality products you need.

How does impregnation with roof shampoo work?®?
- Clean: Start by cleaning your roof tiles with our Quick Cleaner or Get Sticky Shampoo. If necessary, use our algae cleaner to remove stubborn algae. You don't have to scrub or scrub; spraying, waiting and rinsing is enough to thoroughly clean your roof. Only for stubborn moss you should use our moss scraper to be able to take in hand.
- Impregnation: Apply the impregnating agent evenly with a manual pressure sprayer according to the instructions. After an average of 2 hours (at 20 degrees Celsius) your roof is dry and protected for a long time.
