Solar panels are often elevated on the roof. This creates space between the roof and the solar panels. Animals like birds, mice, or martens can nest here perfectly. This may seem harmless at first, but it can damage cables and increase the risk of fire. It can also reduce the efficiency of your system. With installed solar protection you prevent:

Aluminium solar shading
We work with the ALUPER® AP88 Solar shading, a black aluminum strip with a comb profile. This is placed around your solar panels, against the roof tiles. The comb flexibly conforms to the roof, so there are no gaps. Characteristics:
- Dimensions: 1000 x 45/135 x 1 mm
- Material: black aluminum, UV and ozone resistant
- Durable, maintenance-free and flexible
- Resistant to high and low temperatures
- Fits almost all types of solar panels
- To be glued or fixed with screws or pop rivets
For additional protection, we can, if desired, place two profiles on top of each other for even greater resistance to pests.

● The screen is made of aluminium and is UV resistant, so it will continue to work for a lifetime.● From a thickness of 2 mm, aluminium is strong enough to stop the stone marten.
● Assemble to protect against stone martens, place two AP88 profiles of 1 mm thickness on top of each other.
